As a Sales Solutions Executive, you would be responsible for the direct sales of our business to business services to new and existing customers within an assigned/designated territory. The Sales Solutions Executive is responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle including pipeline building, identifying and qualifying target opportunities, meeting with prospective customers, finalizing and closing orders and following through to revenue. You will be provided with the latest technology, tools and training to ensure best chance of success. The Sales Solutions Executive will be working remotely but subject to change according to our company policy. The ideal candidate will cover Southern California (Santa Barbara south to Mexico).
Provide expertise and solutions to help customers meet compliance requirements (moved from responsibilities to purpose)
Trusted Advisor with proven ability to articulate industry trends, competition differentiation, and strategic
Sell all Stericycle services to healthcare customers (RMW, SMS, Rx, CsRx, Hazardous Waste, Etc.)
Establish Stericycle’s value
Revenue growth and profitability in assigned region
Target new logos within territory.
Key Job Activities
Secures long term contracts with high profit margins
Work with RSD/RIAE/MAM to construct strategic combinations of renewal/new business deals.
Build profitable initiatives in new business contracts)
Manages a complex sales process with multiple departments and decision makers
Develop and maintain a high level of product expertise of all services including competitive advantages
Develop and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities for assigned territory
Develop business priority goals to meet and surpass annual sales quotas
Focus on growth opportunities within assigned territory
Use measurement tools/methods to monitor progress toward goals
Take responsibility for higher levels of performance
Set high goals for personal and team accomplishment
Work through challenging customer negotiations utilizing value selling initiatives
Establish valuable relationships with both team members and customers through open and candid communication, building trust, and being accountable
Ability to manage and prioritize assigned territory new business opportunities
Ability to present and articulate Stericycle programs, pricing structure, and agreement language
Staying up to date on regulatory knowledge to better position yourself as a subject matter expert.
Staying up to date on competitor’s offerings and processes to differentiate Stericycle.
Participate in networking events with hospital stakeholders and decision makers.
Continuously strategizing and collaborating with team members to problem solve, and meet deadlines in order to achieve goals
Work closely and effectively with assigned territory team, pricing strategy team, DRC, and legal.
Negotiate profitable new business deals in assigned territory
Collaboration with the Major Account Manager (MAM) to strategically plan for maximum account growth and penetration
Maintain accurate information regarding account activity and opportunities in Sales-Force
Through utilizing Salesforce Sales Solution Executives can manage their territory effectively. The goal is to focus on revenue generating activities.
Build and sustain strong, trusting relationships with customers and prospects
Prospect and close new core business (RMW, SMS, Rx, CsRx, Hazardous Waste, Etc.)
Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure customer and business needs are being met with new program implementations
Create and design presentations for customers regarding service offerings
Work effectively and cooperatively with key relationships
Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty
Works to meet and exceed goals
Effectively Demonstrates knowledge of job skills such as work plans, organized information, defined tasks, and time management
Negotiate and secure new contracts, while meeting or exceeding established annual goals.
Daily contact with multi department personnel at all levels within Hospitals, with focus on executive level personnel, in assigned territory
Conduct value driven client visits
Provide presentations to customers to in-person or via computer regarding Stericycle services
Network with organizations to increase the ability to make sales (APIC – The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Groups, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Etc.)
Establish meaningful relationships with customers that evolve into a partnership between Stericycle and the client’s organization
Work with the Deal Review Committee (DRC) and Pricing Strategy Team to evaluate pricing for new opportunities
Identify customer influencers/decision-makers
Continuous interaction with current and prospective clients
Demonstrates a wide range of proven sales techniques, consultative selling approach & continue to develop as needed
Possess a sound knowledge of Stericycle’s service and value proposition & continue to develop as needed
Stay current on industry trends
Complete contracts for Stericycle services
Create account numbers
Negotiate redlines with customers
Process contracts through the Stericycle process
Coordinate with Operations regarding product orders, installations, training and follow-up
Make appointments with customers and always show-up on-time
Other responsibilities as are requested by the Regional Sales Director
