Community Outreach to Veterans

Mission: The Employment Development Department promotes California's economic growth by providing services to keep employers, employees, and job seekers competitive. Vision: The Employment Development Department will be universally recognized for its outstanding customer service and will be considered a model for public agency quality and fairness.

NABVETS will provide personal advocacy on behalf of veterans seeking claims against the United States Department of Veterans Affairs; advocacy for youth in all matters required for successful passage into adulthood; advocacy on behalf of families; with community involvement, provide advocacy in creating positive lifestyles for veterans; and to generate and preserve the historical record.

The Women Marines Association is the only veterans association for and about women Marines. WMA is a non-profit 501(c)3 veteran organization. The Women Marines Association was established in Denver, CO, in 1960 to ensure that our history as Marines would continue to be told and passed on to a new generation of Marines. Chapters and members across the nation work on community programs and support our military personnel, our veterans and their communities. They reach across all areas where there is a need.
