Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer (Sr. Associate - Projects) with 6-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Production Planning & Control in Industrial Manufacturing, with proficiency in C#, Angular, and ASP.NET. This role involves developing innovative solutions to enhance our manufacturing processes, contributing significantly to our operational efficiency and success.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of new software solutions to improve production planning and control processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and integrate manufacturing systems with IT solutions.
  • Design, code, and test applications using C#, Angular, and ASP.NET to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Identify and resolve system issues, optimizing performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, enhancing team capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements in production planning and control.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development.
  • Participate in code reviews, contributing to the maintenance of high coding standards.
  • Develop detailed documentation for the deployment and maintenance of software applications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solutions that meet those requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the software development process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sr. Developer with a strong background in Production Planning & Control in Industrial Manufacturing.
  • Expertise in C#, Angular, and ASP.NET is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development in software engineering and production technologies.
  • Certification(s) Required CERTIFIED SCRUMMASTER (CSM) OR MICROSOFT CERTIFIED: AZURE DEVELOPER ASSOCIATE.

Salary and Other Compensation:

  • The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 - $106,200 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
