- The City of Irvine seeks motivated individuals with demonstrated customer service skills to provide facility operations support, assist with events at the Irvine Civic Center, and support citywide special events.The following vacancies exist:
- Extended Part-time vacancy: 30-32 hours per week
- Part-time vacancy: up to 19 hours a week
The ideal candidate has two years of college-level work and two years of relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Your Team
The Community Services Department provides exceptional service, innovative programs, and diverse cultural experiences in vibrant and sustainable spaces. The department consists of the following award-winning programs and services: Administrative Services, Animal Care, Athletics, Aquatics, Arts, Child Care Services, Children, Youth and Families Outreach, Community Parks, Disability Services, Events/Cultural Activities, Great Park Operations and Attractions, Reservations and Program Services, Senior Services, and Transportation Services (TRIPS).
The Process
The selection process will include an examination and conduct a background investigation prior to appointment. This recruitment may establish an eligibility list to fill future positions in similar and/or lower classifications within the organization.
