As a Senior Solutions Engineer in the Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) team based in Irvine, CA, you will collaborate with business, development, infrastructure (TSO), and architecture teams to define and execute test strategies for complex projects, act as a subject matter expert for investment systems test flow and provide leadership/mentorship to the testing team. You will be part of a team responsible for analyzing requirements/tests, identifying/provisioning test environment and data requirements, contributing to technical discussions, and working across multiple technology platforms. Critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving skills are a must.
In the Senior Solutions Engineer role, you will lead and contribute to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis, development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for one or more business capabilities and/or products. You will influence business and technology teams by leading different parts of solution delivery along with internal technology, vendor, and business partners.
You will be responsible for leading testing on multiple projects, including end to end integration and enterprise batch execution, test environment management, project communication, project financials, and on-going support with IT and business partners. You will provide thought leadership and a deep understanding of supported business and technical capabilities by appropriately applying industry trends/products/solutions to solving business problems. In addition, you will be responsible for:
  • Defining the roadmap for large programs and provide guidance on industry validation process.
  • Developing and driving test strategy and approach for multiple programs and releases
  • Identifying tools and technologies to implement to enhance the test coverage, test environment and test execution effectiveness.
  • Performing root cause analysis and statistical analysis on defects/trends and initiating improvement actions
  • Designing and driving end to end test strategy for FI, EQ investment management business capabilities and new Product launches.
  • Drive enterprise batch executions and Test environment management activities.
  • Collaborate with enterprise Technology teams to develop E2E test environments and data strategy, adapt and evolve approaches to better support business and technology changes.

  • You have bachelor's degree preferred in a related field or equivalent
  • You have a minimum 8+ years of work experience in development/testing
  • You have hands on experience with investment platforms for order management, trading, and fund accounting.
  • You have a good understanding day over day life cycle events for FI, EQ instruments including prove experience in Integration flows and E2E batch capabilities.
  • You have a good comprehension/working experience of various technologies and messaging protocols (e.g., real time services, file-based delivery)
  • You have good technical knowledge of both frontend/backend Cloud services and technologies.
  • You have a strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.


Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
