ImmunityBio, Inc. is a late-stage immunotherapy company developing a broad pipeline of next-generation therapies that drive immunogenic mechanisms for defeating cancer and infectious disease. The company's immunotherapy platform is designed to activate both the innate (natural killer cell and macrophage) and adaptive (T cell) immune systems to create long-term "immunological memory." The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted for review ImmunityBio's resubmission of its Biologics License Application (BLA) for N-803, a first-in-class IL-15 superagonist, plus Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) for the treatment of BCG-unresponsive non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer carcinoma in situ (CIS) with or without Ta or T1 disease, and has set a user fee goal date (PDUFA date) of April 23, 2024.

The Contract Administrator position will provide all forms of contract-related support through all phases of the contract lifecycle. The role will partner with a variety of key business stakeholders throughout the company.

Essential Functions

  • Perform routine and specialized administrative duties for Legal and Contract Operations.
  • Tracks contracts through negotiation, approval, distribution, and execution process including the required follow-ups with legal, business, and finance.
  • Assists with sending distribution memo emails for fully executed agreements.
  • Maintains contract tracking spreadsheet including keeping it up to date.
  • Uploads agreements, inputs data and maintains contract databases.
  • Assists with coordination of emails coming into the contracts email inbox.
  • Assists in the assigning of contracts for review.
  • Prepares initial drafts of contracts and NDAs and runs redlines.
  • Responds to questions and directs inquiries regarding contracts and other matters.
  • Creates and maintains department reports.
  • Drafts, proofreads, and edits correspondence and other documents.
  • Maintains electronic and paper files
  • Performs administrative tasks such scheduling calls and zoom meetings and prepare and handle mailing and FedEx.
  • Handles additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1-year relevant work experience (including but not limited to internships and/or coursework)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise professionalism, poise, and tact in all verbal and written correspondence
  • Strong time management skills

Working Environment / Physical Environment

  • This role will be a hybrid role at the Company's facility in El Segundo, CA.
  • This position will primarily work in a desk environment

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The annual base pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

$33.65 per hour (entry-level qualifications) to $37.50 per hou (highly experienced)
