What You'll Do
  • Independently create detailed, accurate placing rebar drawings and bar list to facilitate field placement and project scheduling
  • Verify drawings, specifications, addenda's and information from contract documents
  • Work with job site and shop personnel to determine requirements for both detailing and delivery of material
  • Identify and develop information required to inform management team and customers of any changes to the contract
  • Communicate with ironworkers, customers and A/E on all questions relating to projects including writing of RFI's
  • Enter all drawings for submission into drawing tracking system
  • Enter all orders into business system and prepare reports to assist in management of projects
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned, and requirements may vary from time to time
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 2 years of rebar detailing experience utilizing RebarCAD or MicroStation software
  • Experience detailing in BIM a plus
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction specifications and drawings drafting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Effective planning/organization
  • Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • Must be self-driven with an ability to respond quickly to client requests and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
Your Education
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
