- Independently create detailed, accurate placing rebar drawings and bar list to facilitate field placement and project scheduling
- Verify drawings, specifications, addenda's and information from contract documents
- Work with job site and shop personnel to determine requirements for both detailing and delivery of material
- Identify and develop information required to inform management team and customers of any changes to the contract
- Communicate with ironworkers, customers and A/E on all questions relating to projects including writing of RFI's
- Enter all drawings for submission into drawing tracking system
- Enter all orders into business system and prepare reports to assist in management of projects
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned, and requirements may vary from time to time
- Minimum 2 years of rebar detailing experience utilizing RebarCAD or MicroStation software
- Experience detailing in BIM a plus
- Ability to read and comprehend construction specifications and drawings drafting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient time management skills
- Effective planning/organization
- Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
- Must be self-driven with an ability to respond quickly to client requests and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
