SummaryDevelop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients for the purposes of finding new steel frame projects and getting commitments to use SidePlate technology. This is a Remote position and reports to the Director of Business Development, SidePlate.Job Responsibilities & RequirementsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage sales leads, prospects, and customer accounts with agreed business objectives.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or construction-related major.
Experience: General understanding of building codes, earthquake engineering, statics, dynamics, and structural load path.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office and proficient skills in Word and Excel, as well as a familiarity with various structural engineering software platforms used to analyze building structures.
Other Requirements: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings. Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
Travel: Up to 35% of the total work time spent traveling to potential and existing customers, tradeshows, fabricator shops, and project sites as necessary
