The Position

The 340B Sr. National Account Executive ensures compliance and appropriate discount extension under the 340B Program. They collaborate with customers, address non-compliance, and recover ineligible discounts. Success requires teamwork, efficiency, and maintaining relationships with internal teams. They also collaborate to influence stakeholders and support operational aspects of the 340B Program to maintain Genentech's industry leadership.

Location: Candidates can live anywhere within the continental United States.

The Opportunity:

  • Deep understanding of 340B Program regulations, policies, and guidelines, and their application to Genentech's operations.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships to ensure a positive experience during 340B program inquiries and addressing non-compliance issues.
  • Utilizing comprehensive knowledge of Genentech therapeutic areas and products to address unique needs and challenges in the 340B program.
  • Analyzing data, identifying risks and opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving execution of solutions to ensure program compliance and recovery of ineligible discounts.

Who you are:

Qualifications:

  • You will have strong business acumen and commercial insight developed through a combination of industry experience, MBA or similar postgraduate degree preferred (a minimum of 10 years of experience)
  • You will have previous 340B hospital pharmacy, inventory, and operations experience; 340B hospital sales experience; 340B contract pharmacy management; or 340B Account Management experience at life sciences company required
  • You will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Account Manager or similar position
  • You will have demonstrated ability to perform, interpret, and then present complex analyses to a customer

Preferred:

  • You should have strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • You should have effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • You should have demonstrated leadership in complex cross-functional teams, operating under ambiguity, and influencing without authority.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of CA is $176,500 and $327,700 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role. The stated territory for this position is the United States, but the ability to extensively travel throughout the United States will be required. Candidate can live anywhere in the United States. Travel ~50% of the time in role should be expected (under normal circumstances). This is a remote position.

Business travel, by air or car, is regularly required. This position requires significant use of either a company provided or personal vehicle to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the role. As a result, Genentech, Inc. (Company) from time to time will check your motor vehicle record for purposes of determining your eligibility for driving a Company vehicle or driving any vehicle on Company business.
