Salary Pay Range: $91,758 - $131,143

YOUR ROLE


Responsible for analyzing processes and procedures involved in the operations and optimize for efficiency.

Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Assist users with application software and computer equipment during normal working hours and be available via a pager/cell phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide advanced support on an emergency basis.
  • Monitor status of service requests and ensure timely resolution and follow up.
  • Support desktop, LAN, servers and wireless systems.
  • Maintain RF and/or mobile communication environment.
  • Document computer application issues and coordinate solutions with developers.
  • Serve as liaison between operations, technology and quality.
  • Recommend, design, and develop new technologies and systems.
  • Serve as a liaison between technology and external customers.
  • Non-essential function: serve as a facilitator for project/product meetings and conference calls.
  • Non-essential function: Manage different assignments within conflicting priority levels.
  • Non-essential function: customer site visits.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering or related area.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience installing, configuring, and supporting system and application software.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience supporting Transportation and Logistics operations and/or applications.

Skills:

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and related job specific software applications.
  • Accurate typing and/or data entry skills. Basic math skills.
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in demanding environments with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience using Microsoft Project to manage project schedules, priorities, and resources.
  • Experience supporting PC hardware and software in a Microsoft environment.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Self-motivated. Strong leadership ability.
  • Interface effectively with customers or others associated with the project or assignment.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
