Service Coordinator

Summary / Position Purpose:

The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing all communications between our service department and customers. This will include sending quotes, receiving purchase orders, and ensuring their accuracy against quote repairs, fielding customer questions, ordering parts, managing parts supplier relationships and office duties, such as invoicing, general clerical work, and operating as our front desk receptionist.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

  • Read, analyze, and interpret General Business Periodicals, Professional Journals, Technical Procedures, and Government Regulations
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with several internal teams
  • Generating quotes and receiving purchase orders
  • Ensuring accuracy against quote repairs
  • Performing world class customer service with our customers
  • Ordering parts and managing parts with the suppliers
  • Office clerical duties such as faxing, invoicing, answering calls that are received at the office, ordering office supplies, and acting as a front desk receptionist
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications & Experience

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of industry experience or a related customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous administrative experience required
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • High quality organizational skills
  • The ability to work well under deadlines and to multitask.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and customers in the community
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Teamwork related attitude is required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
