Count and prepare coin revenue for armored car pick up using machinery, coin sorters, scales, computer software, etc. Inspect, maintain and repair coin canisters to ensure they remain in good working condition.

Coin Room hours are from 7am - 4pm. Will be paid $18/hr during training. Once training is completed, pay will increase to $20/hr.


Must be able to lift up to 50 pound bags constantly, able to do warehouse equivalent work and repairs of canisters and help office when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Count coin revenue from all assigned parking meters and pay stations utilizing specialized equipment.
  • Report any and all canister malfunctions through the provided reporting device.
  • Use and comprehend assigned collection route maps to efficiently collect all parking revenue from the parking meters and pay stations.
  • Securely load and unload specialized canister vaults used during the revenue collection process.
  • Work outside to perform duties, regardless of weather conditions (e.g. cold, rainy, hot, humid, harsh, and snowy).

Qualifications

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and a high school graduate at the time of hire
  • Knowledge of geography of the area where revenue will be collected
  • One-year of relevant experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions
  • Ability to use a hand-held reporting device
  • Ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner
  • Ability to walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work well with a team and also independently
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be safety conscious at all times, as employees will be expected to work in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, preferred

Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.
