Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow established rules of each unit for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by unit management
  • Comply with company implemented sanitation Standard Operating Procedures including the company’s HACCP Plan and Good Manufacturing Practices which maintains the company’s compliance with USDA regulations.
  • Clean and sanitize all interior areas within unit and external unit property.
  • Ensure that spills are promptly mopped up and floors are kept dry to minimize slips and falls due to wet floors.
  • Use proper detergents and degreasing solvents to maintain safe working environment for all production areas and maintain use and proper storage of sanitation chemicals and equipment.
  • Sanitize all restrooms and areas of common personnel traffic, including walls and floors
  • Empty and clean refuse containers and dispose of refuse in proper bins for later removal.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, abilities and other job related attributes needed to perform the job at a satisfactory level. 
  • Education/Experience - One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Ability -  Able to communicate with coworkers and supervisors and read machine operations monitoring instruments, as well as documents monitoring use of equipment used in daily sanitation procedures.. 
  • Manual Dexterity  -  Able to work with hands to handle tools and equipment used in   cleaning processes
  • Reasoning Ability  -  Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills - No Computer skills needed. 
  • Certificates and Licenses - No certifications needed.  Within 3 years, Sanitation License or Certificate will be a plus.

Schedules are based on our needs, were a 24/7 facility and candidates will be need to be able to work any schedule, any day including holidays and weekends.
