Job Description:
Be part of a repair team and troubleshoot / repair cutting-edge-technology printed circuit boards
Work most of the day in a clean-room environment
Operate specialized testing tools, including high-end flying probe testers
Operate specialized repair tools, including Laser repair tools
Learn to detect and identify defects through adequate interpretation of key basic electrical results
Communicate with team lead and engineering department and assist with adequate repair planning
Perform repairs and document appropriately to insure traceability
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery and software, such as computers, emails, computer printer, etc..
Frequently moves electronic parts and equipment weighing up to 15 pounds across the cleanroom.
Work under CWW_12hr shift schedule
Requirements:
1. Preferable: degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
2. Preferable: 1 year work manufacturing experience in PCB or micro-electronics industry
3. Preferable: work experience in a Clean room environment
4. Optional: familiarity with key process steps from micro-electronics industry, including Photolithography, thin film deposition and Plating process.
5. Must: Excellent track records with and/or Strong Interest in hands-on work
6. Must: be able to work using stereoscopes and microscope. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
7. Preferable: Experience with MEMS (micro electro mechanical systems) fabrication
8. Must: Familiar with basic electrical measurement tools (ex: voltmeter)
9. Preferable: certificate in soldering
10. Preferable: Experience in troubleshooting, and repairing PCB board
12. Must: Excellent track records with neat, organized, fast-pace work environments
13. Must: Have rudimentary understanding of Excel software
14. Preferable: proficient with Allegro, advanced Excel usability, AUTOCAD
15. Preferable: knowledgeable of Pick and Place operations
16. Preferable: basic knowledge in Laser repair tools
Education:
1. Preferable: degree in electrical engineering or related discipline

The pay range for this role in Baldwin Park, CA is between $27.90 and $36.59. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
